Check Marks And Exclamations ~ The Untold Story

It was a morning brimming with promise. It was a day full of planning, check marks and last minute detail. Empty suitcases lay on my bedroom floor waiting to be packed.  Clothes were both hanging and folded in readiness for a ‘life’ event. A very official looking leather portfolio case lay on my half-made bed, along with my passport and some important papers that had been carefully clipped together.  This black leather folder was eye catching, probably because  its dark colour made it so obvious on the soft flouncy, light weight duvet. It stood out in the room.
