Panache

Panache? hmm, or maybe yum.  Panache sounds a lot like ganache, which is whipped filling of chocolate and cream, used in deserts such as cakes and truffles. Rich with texture and quality taste, people who present with panache deliver much of the same oomph with confidence and style.  Panache is all about identifying, expressing and exclaiming with verve.  I equate people that have panache with big thinkers, seasoned travelers, or mindful doers with wisdom and empathy. People with panache are leaders who show up, dare to care and are not afraid to dream in Technicolor.

We are an amazing vibrant and alive society.  Our world is growing up with extra-ordinary people and tremendous experience. We are now looking toward incredible possibility. Advancement has never been so available.  Achievements have never been so remarkable.  We are on the brink of astounding discoveries each and every day. Destinations abound with greatness and goodness. Living as a whole, doing business as a means to propel positive forward, has never been so social, so global, so necessary and so up close and personal.

Ok, so at this point you might be thinking this all sounds mighty fine and super-powered, but where is the reality check!  Is this not going against the grain and sounding overly optimistic and idealistic? Especially when all around, broadcasters are blasting out news reports about doom and gloom, recession and the lack of luster in a down economy? I mean really, is it not outlandish to flaunt such a positive style and attitude when so many are fueling with low-grade octane? Valid questions to be sure.

Truth be told, I actually think we should be celebrating and rising up to the challenges before us with vim and vigor.  A little courage and moxie can lead us to discovery and perhaps even make our spirits soar.  You don’t have to be wildly bedecked, you just have to reach out with personality and proudly present with signature style and confidence.  It’s maybe not for the faint of heart, and it’s perhaps not for the safeguarded, but it is for people who trust life’s compass and are willing to explore positive change and worldly possibilities. It is for the spirited adventurists who have vision and leadership.

I fully believe this is the best time of all to enjoy the merriment of both our personal and business purpose, and we should do so with lively commitment, passion and panache! It’s time we get a little extroverted and animated. It’s time to shift out of low gear and showcase some personality and the stuff we are made of! Stop settling for dull mediocrity. Start seeking fascination, illumination and even a dose of flamboyant style.  If personal and professional growth and vitality is of interest to you, then signature style and panache is a must!   Steer away from autopilot.  Switch off from grey decision-making and light up with “colour my world” relations that will dazzle the universe!  Responding to people and ideas with slow movements, and no sense of creative style, will only hem you in and stifle your ability to lead in the global parade of success.  We must stop mingling, communicating and living in an ordinary fashion. Everyone has personality, everyone has a signature style; Examine yours, get to know it, and share it with the world.
